What Does MAEYC Stand For?
MAEYC stands for Memphis Association for the Education of Young Children.
What is the Mission of MAEYC?
The mission of this organization shall be to provide opportunities for the membership to enhance their experience and to increase their knowledge of the newer approaches in Early Childhood Education and to coordinate the efforts of others in promoting the general welfare of and improving education opportunities for all children.
Who can become a member of MAEYC?
Anyone interested in promoting the purposes of this association may become a member upon payment of annual dues.
All members of MAEYC are also members of Tennessee Association for the Education of Young Children (TAEYC), The Southern Early Childhood Association (SECA), and the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), and are entitled to privileges of membership in accord with the membership categories of those respective organizations. The categories of membership shall be Affiliate, Regular Affiliate, and Student Affiliate.
