Mission
The mission of this organization shall be to provide opportunities for the members to enhance their knowledge of the newer approaches in Early Childhood Education and to coordinate the efforts of others in promoting the general welfare of and improving education opportunities for all children.
Value Statement
MAEYC and the surrounding community represent a diverse community of families. We seek to build an environment based upon unity of purpose which will be reflective of all cultures and values. This environment will be one which the Early Childhood community, including but not limited to children, families, teachers, educators, and other interested parties shall be enriched through high quality training programs which promote health and safety, high self esteem, and prepare children to develop their potential learning. This organization will be viewed as an all inclusive professional Early Childhood organization, and will be recognized as such throughout Southwest Tennessee.
